Fun Summer Fashion!

Hello lovelies! I thought I would do a little bit different post about fashion! Something I normally don’t get too in to because being a stay at home mom I live in yoga pants and comfy tank tops. This way I am always comfortable and never to upset when I am spit up on or food gets thrown or just the general buckets of slobber. Anyways I do like to get dressed every once in a while and not just for youtube. So I have been searching for some super cute, stylish pieces that are affordable! I want to get the most bang for my buck. I also have been thinking about pieces I can wear on my honeymoon. Who doesn’t want to look amazing during a week in paradise?!

If you have never heard of Zaful, go check them out! I will leave them linked below.

Here are a few things that I have recently been checking out and purchasing! I love fun patterns and off the shoulder detail. While on an island, beach, or here in the super hot heat I want flowy clothing that is cool and comfortable. Even if I am going to a fancy event I have to be comfortable or else I can’t enjoy myself. These are some fun pieces that I can dress up or wear casual day or night!

How cute are these two dresses?! Click them to see so much more cute pieces! They also have tons of accessories and shoes and even makeup brushes!

I also recently took a chance and tried my luck ordering some bathing suits from walmart! I am obsessed with with swim wear, I probably buy swim almost as much as I buy makeup or skin care.

These are the two I ordered.. my attempt at a mom suit but still cute and fun! I am not sure about the one piece, I have lately wanted to attempt to wear one but unfortunately I have had to return every one I get because they are not long enough for my torso.. even if I order it big!

What are you guys currently loving? Where do you shop and find good deals? Let me know!!

xoxo Erin

Full Disclosure: I am an affiliate with Zaful. I asked to work with them after ordering and loving the amazing pieces and deals I was getting. I only do affiliate programs with companies I believe in and use myself. All opinions are 100% honest.

I went away for a long weekend with the family this past weekend and we just got back yesterday evening. Traveling is so exhausting! But I came home to my beautycon box which is always exciting!!

I filmed my unboxing so check it out HERE if you are interested in seeing that. If not continue reading to find out what was inside. image1(3)

  • Manna Kadar Beauty- Flutter Mascara in Jet Black

I am very excited to try out the lip products and the eye liner and the masks! I am honestly kinda on the fence about how I feel about the box this season. I love a lot of the products but as far as the nail products go I am just not excited at all about them. I rarely paint my nails, maybe once a month. I think maybe what is throwing me off about this box is how small the products are where as the past few boxes I received larger products which make you feel like you are getting more.

Of course I will update you on products I like and didn’t as I try them out this month!!

What do  you guys think or what products are you loving?

Stretch Mark Remover DIY Update

Hey Friends!! I know everyone is anticipating this update. For the past 21 days I have been testing out Stretch mark remover DIY’s. I have started with 2 and if they don’t work I will move on to another 2 to try until I find one that works for me and for y’all!! IMG_1287This is where I started. I know that I don’t have the worst stretch marks in the world but honestly they still bother me. I didn’t get a single stretch mark until a week before I delivered!! How annoying is that?!?!?! Any ways when I ran my hand over my legs I could feel the uneven-ness of my skin and seeing that whiteish and purple/red coloring. I hate it!! I know some say to embrace it but why not be confident about them while trying to remove them? haha So after 21 days I can see a difference!!

It is not perfect but my skin has become more smooth and less uneven. Still not perfect. and the coloring is much better. IMG_1409This is the thigh I have been using the cocoa butter mixture on. Check out my post on DIY stretch mark remover for the recipe. Yes you can see I still have some marks but trust me it is much better!!FullSizeRender(10)This last picture is of my left thigh where I have been using the vitamin E. Vitamin E has been working soooo well! I have been super impressed with both of these remedies. I have to say they really do work. The key is patience and consistency. If you can stick with it you can have super smooth legs or anywhere on your body really!

Lastly I am working on reformulating the cocoa butter mixture to be a little more user friendly. It is a solid lotion that melts into the skin. I think for my next batch I will add vitamin E to it and also use molds. Like I say in the past few posts. I am OBSESSED with this homemade cocoa butter lotion. OMG just sooooo good!

Okay y’all that is all for my half way update! I’m excited to see the results at the end of the 45 days!!

Morphe Brushes

Hello friends! For today’s post I wanted to write about something a little different. I wanted to write about the morphe drama that has been going on. Now if you haven’t heard I will give you a brief background. Basically Influencers get a code to offer their subscribers a discount on morphe products and they make money off of this code being used. Well people are making claims that the products don’t work and the brushes are cheap and fall apart. So these people are trying to call out these influencers saying they are just trying to make money by promoting bad product. Now let me give you my opinion and story.Screen Shot 2017-06-05 at 4.41.22 PM

My experience with Morphe has been nothing but amazing. Of course I did hear about Morphe from an influencer, Jaclyn Hill. She is queen and amazing. Aside from that I formed my own opinions on every product as any good reviewer should. So I started my Morphe journey by ordering a few brushes and OMG I fell in love. I have many many brushes but for the price you just can’t beat the exceptional quality. I saw videos of people roughly rubbing their brushes against their hands or legs and them falling apart, well HELLO?!?! Who does that? I have had absolutely not a single problem with any of my brushes.

Next I tried an eyeshadow pallet. I now own 5! They are sooo full of pigment and so smooth and creamy and blendable. Very affordable and very much worth it! At less than half the cost of an average eyeshadow pallet and you get way more colors! The 35K is one of my favorites so check it out!

Lastly I bought their new setting spray and without going in to much detail because it will definitely be in my monthly favorites, it is AMAZING!

Morphe is a great brand to get high quality makeup and makeup brushes on a mom budget. I give two thumbs way up!! I super approve!!

Till next time my dears!

May’s Hits and Misses

I didn’t try out a ton of new products in the month of may so this won’t be a long list. Next month tho will be a doozy! I have placed some online orders and there are some more launches coming in June that I have to get my hands on!

So on to the hits and misses: Let’s start with what was a hit!

First off I have been 100% OBSESSED with this moisturizer for Baby K. Eucerin Baby Eczema Relief Body Creme. Get this NOW! If your baby has dry skin at all this will banish it so quickly! And no baby does not have to have eczema in order to use this. I even use it on my self. I have gone through every baby moisturizer on the market and this stuff is the bomb dot com.

Okay so I know I have mentioned this before but the body moisturizer that I have created for the stretch mark remedy is my newest love. It is a solid moisturizer so I am still working on ways to package it but it literally melts into the skin and smells amazing. I love it so much!

Lastly for my hits is a hair tool/accessory. The Beachwaver Co. The Wrap Up has been my go to for doing my hair lately. My husband got promoted and we had an awards banquet to go to and I needed to look nice for these events other than my usual messy bun and yoga pants. If you know me at all you would know I have super long thick hair and I HATE styling it. This little guy allows me to create the perfect bun with no effort.

Misses: I really only have one that I tried out this month and it is from Burts Bees Baby. I know there are those people out there who love burts bees products but I wasn’t a huge fan. I used the baby wash while on vacation and I found it very liquidy which I didn’t like. I like using a thicker wash on Baby K. I also am not in love with the smell.. Oh well win some and lose some.

What products were you loving or not loving this past month?! Let me know!!

DIY Stretch Mark Remover!!

That is right my friends I am out to find the best DIY stretch mark remover. Sorry this did not go up yesterday, I thought I had it scheduled. Anyways… I have done some research and I have come up with some DIY natural stretch mark removers. Now of course you can go buy a product that is supposed to remove them but why not spend way less and make your own?!

I am trying out 2 of them at a time. I was going to attempt 4 but it got really messy, literally, and complicated. So I will try 2 of these for 45 days and then try another 2 if these don’t work. I started this new challenge on May 17 and if nothing else I have created the best body cream! The first two I am trying out is Vitamin E and Cocoa butter.

For the vitamin E I simply bought a bottle of Vit. E capsules and I open one capsule nightly and message it into my skin. I know for a fact that Vit. E works on scars because I have used it before to remove fresh scars but I am testing it out on the stretch marks now. The only down fall is that it is pretty sticky. Definitely have to wash your hands after messaging it in and hopefully you aren’t trying to do anything after applying!

Now for the cocoa butter I purchased Raw Cocoa Butter 100% Pure 8oz from amazon. I couldn’t find it in stores in a larger quantity than 1oz in any stores. I then melted it over a double boiler, added just a touch of coconut oil and added a bit of jojoba oil. I poured the mixture into a glass jar and I slather it on every night. OMG it smells amazing and makes my skin feel so fabulous. It makes your skin super soft and not sticky at all.

A double boiler is really the way to go. I attempted the microwave and it doesn’t work.

So far I have not noticed a huge difference but tomorrow marks one week. I have a ways to go to meet the 45 days! Also I did not pull that number out of thin air, the cocoa butter information said 45 days so that is what I am going to give each DIY that I try. So basically 6 weeks.

Alright guys I hope you enjoyed! Try this out with me and let me know what you think or wait and see how this ends up working out for me. Let me know in the comments if you have your own DIY or product that removes stretch marks!!

xoxo Erin
