Foot Mask Review

OMG. Friends two weeks ago I tested out a foot mask I purchased on Amazon. It is from Mond’Sub and is the sage exfoliator foot mask. It was only 3$ if I am not mistaken and I received two treatments. IMG_1883 I followed the directions by applying the mask and leaving it on for an hour then rinsing my feet. It says within 3-7 days feet should begin to peel. After removing the mask and rinsing and letting my feet dry, my feet felt like paper mache. It was so bizarre.

Here I am two weeks later and my feet are still peeling and it is so strange. I was expecting to peel in larger sheets but no it is quite the opposite. Sounds gross to write about it. If you do decide to do a foot mask I would reccomend picking up a really good foot moisturizer to help your feet out!! I’m testing one out I picked up Monday so I will let you know how I like it in a later post.

Overall I do not think I will be purchasing another foot mask. My feet are super soft where the skin has peeled but weeks of snake feet is bizarre and I don’t like it. Maybe I will stop being a cheapo and go get a fancy pedicure. haha!

Till next time

July Hits and Misses

I know I say it every month and I will probably continue to say it but WHEH! This month flew by!! It seems like the older you get the quicker the time flies by. So I do not have near as much as last month. In June I had purchased lots of products and tested them out. This month I have a few but not near as many. Okay so let’s jump in!Screen Shot 2017-08-02 at 9.38.31 AM

  1. Bite Beauty Agave Lip Mask- Lately my lips have been getting so chapped between the heat and the excessive testing of lip products. This is the one product that is truly amazing! I put it on at night and my lips are super moisturized and healed in the morning. This is a must have product for me!
  2. Mont Bleu Nail tools- I was able to test these products out recently and they are truly amazing and stunning. Studded in swarovski crystals they are beautiful to look at and have made a big difference in my nail routine!
  3. Colourpop Fem Rosa collection- OMG colourpop has done it again. Super affordable and beautiful color pay off. The lips are fantastic and the eyeshadows are a creamy dream.
  4. Garnier SkinActive Clean+ Pore Purifying 2-in-1 Clay Cleanser/mask- Last month I told you about a facial cleanser that I didn’t like at all, well this month I found one that I actually enjoy. I love that it doubles as a mask and it keeps my skin really clear.
  5. Munchkin weighted straw sippy cup- Okay so I threw one in for my moms out there. I haven’t added a baby one in a while because well I hadn’t had anything new to try out besides food. But these sippy cups are awesome! Because of the straw and the way everything attaches there are no leaks!!

For the misses this month I only have 2.

  1. Take and Toss sippy cups- These bad boys work… but they leak so badly!! Only put water in them if you decide to use them.
  2. E.L.F. toner- This toner was nothing special.. didn’t really do much for my skin so I don’t think it would be a repurchase.

That’s it for this month! Let me know what you loved and didn’t in the comments so I can try some new things out!!!

Fem Rosa Karrueche X Colourpop

I was going to be giving my thoughts on the new items from Maybelline but since I live in a small southern town we get everything super late so I am still waiting on some local stores to get the complete collection. So in the mean time I purchased the Fem Rosa collection and wanted to share its beauty! First off the packaging was so beautiful with the roses and the rose gold lettering. IMG_0137

Colourpop is known for its bomb products at super affordable prices. The palette retails for 16$ and has 12 shades. 8 Shimmer/satin and 4 matte. It is truly beautiful and has amazing color pay off. They are all in shades of pink, purple, plums, and rose golds. I love them!IMG_0139Next I got 2 lip shades from the collection in the colors Darling and MRS. They have great color pay off and are a satin finish. They are also currently doing a buy two lippies get one free, so for my free lip I got a ultra metallic lip in the shade kween. I am so excited to try this out because it is my first metallic lip!

Lastly I love that coloupop leaves little notes in their packages. Makes the whole experience extra special. I am also super excited that they are expanding their product line and will soon be carrying brushes and concealers. I will definitely let you know what my thoughts are on those!IMG_0142

Mont Bleu Review!

Hello friends! It’s time for another review. I have typically been doing these on Friday but this week we will have 2 reviews. So, as I posted on twitter recently, I was contacted by a company called Mont Bleu to try out some of their products. I want to distress that this is 100% my own personal opinion. I am not being paid to write a review. Okay now that that is said I did receive some products for free to try out. I also was given a discount code for all my wonderful readers and subscribers. I do not get any compensation by anyone using this code so don’t feel as though this has swayed my opinion in any way. The code is BLOG.FullSizeRender(14)

Okay so now that I got the nitty gritty out of the way lets jump in. First off I used to do my nails all the time but stopped after having my son. I have began to jump back in to doing my nails more recently now that he is a little older. The products I was sent are so beautiful! I received two glass nail files in two sizes that were studded in swarovski crystals. A glass foot file. A swarovski crystal studded tweezers. And a glass cuticle stick.IMG_0136

Here are the items in and out of packaging and I attempted to get a close up of the crystal details. I have tried all the items out and I have to say I am super impressed. I would definitely recommend these to anyone looking for some fantastic nail tools. The files smoothed and shaped my nails in just a few swipes. The tweezers were so bomb!! I am always on the lookout for amazing tweezers and these are sooooo good! The cuticle stick did just what it is supposed to do except I didn’t break it like I do to all the wooden ones. I was most excited and interested to try out the foot file. As crazy as that sounds. I walk around barefoot everywhere. I simply hate wearing shoes. I know they are supposed to be a womens favorite accessory and I definitely have some amazing shoes but living where I do at the moment I never get to wear nice things or dress up. So barefoot I stay. That being said I have very rough feet. They don’t look gross by any means but they are very rough. I definitely put the foot file to work and though it didn’t take away a life time of walking bare foot on every terrain imaginable, it definitely smoothed them out and made them softer.IMG_0135

Woof! I am sorry this is so long! Everything was truly amazing and it was a great experience being able to try these products out. If you want to have some for your own I will leave a few links below and don’t forget to use code BLOG to save 20%!!

Stila Heaven’s Hue Highlighter

Okay friends for today I wanted to bring it back to makeup after taking this week to talk about dieting and working out. I plan on making that my monday post. Moving on!

I want to talk about this really beautiful, cool putty highlighter from Stila! It comes in 3 shades as well. I have kitten photographed here.IMG_0112Bouncy-to-the-touch, these unique, radiance-enhancing highlighters are gossamer-light and melt into skin for a barely-there feel. Ultra-fine, light diffusing particles help skin look alit from within with a soft, luminous, natural-looking glow.- Ulta description. And I couldn’t say it any better myself. It really gives a beautiful glow that put on subtly can be very natural or put a little more on for a more blinding highlight. It is so versatile and fun to play with. It definitely get two thumbs up from this girl!!

Till next time loves! Please leave me comments on other products I should review and test out!

UD Naked Skin Shape shifter

It should come as no that I am obsessed with Urban Decay! When I worked at Ulta as an artist and manager I used their products non stop! They really are bomb. After I left working there I sort of fell off the Urban Decay train. Not for any specific reason. I just started testing out less expensive options of makeup when I found out I had a baby on the way. That has not stopped my love for all things beauty whether cheap or expensive. Okay anyways while on vacation for the 4th of July weekend I of course had to stop in at my old stomping grounds and pick up this gem! IMG_0114This bad boy retails for 45$. It comes with 5 cream contour and highlight shades and 4 contour and highlight powders. There is a brush you can purchase that goes along with the palette for 39$, I opted not to because I have plenty of brushes to highlight and contour with.

I am so pleased with my purchase!! The creams blend like a dream and the powders are silky soft and if you are looking for a natural highlight and contour this will be perfect. The shimmery highlight shade that is in the palette gives a beautiful natural glow but not super beaming so if you are like me and want a super glow you will want to add another highlight.

Overall this is an A+ palette and purchase!! I would definitely recommend this if you are on the look for an excellent all in one contour and highlight palette!

Till next time loves!

June Hits and Misses

I am SO sorry that this did not get posted earlier! The family and I made a spontaneous trip to Florida for the 4th of July weekend. We stayed with some friends and I didn’t have much time to edit or write! The weekend was supposed to storm and so I brought my computer and it ended up being beautiful and sunny the whole weekend. Check out my youtube video to see the complete list of hits and misses! Click Here!

So let’s jump right in to these Hits and Misses!

Screen Shot 2017-07-05 at 7.14.13 AMFirst up is the beauty shield collection from ELF Cosmetics! I absolutely love this line. I have been using it everyday since I received it and OMG my skin looks amazing! and I love the way it smells. Screen Shot 2017-06-29 at 3.36.22 PM Next up is the Jaclyn Hill X Morphe palette. I won’t repeat myself from my last post but this palette is amazing so definitely try to get your hands on it!

Screen Shot 2017-07-05 at 7.34.50 AMI really enjoyed this exfoliator! I have been wanting to try a stick exfoliator and so I purchased this one and really liked it. I haven’t decided it I would repurchase it but it is definitely a hit for this month!!Screen Shot 2017-07-05 at 7.35.41 AM Last one for my hits is the Boscia Jelly Ball Cleanser. OMG it is soo cool and weird and I just love it!

On to the Misses…

Screen Shot 2017-07-05 at 7.16.41 AMSo first up on the misses is this makeup drop silicone blender. First off it does not blend at all. Maybe I am not using it correctly but after trying it I was very disappointed. It does save product by not absorbing it I suppose but it is definitely not worth the 20$

Screen Shot 2017-07-05 at 7.17.05 AMThis mascara, Manna Kadar Beauty, was nothing special to me. I received it in my beautycon box and I was not impressed. The brush is way too big and you can not get your bottom lashes with it unless you are prepared to make a mess. And for 29$ I would definitely not purchase this mascara!!

Screen Shot 2017-07-05 at 7.17.19 AMAnother item I was not overly impressed with was this eyeliner by Jonteblu. It is a beautiful color but just didn’t glide on my eyes as easily as I would have loved it too. But it was only 5$ so not a terrible price by any means!!

Alright guys that is it for this time. I have lots of ideas coming up so definitely stay tuned and leave me comments about what you were loving or not loving last month!!!!

xoxo Erin
