Back To The Grind: 2018

Hello Friends!! I know it has been quite a while since I have wrote a post but I was gone for a few weeks over the Christmas season. Almost a month! I believe I really needed a break to get my mind back in to the grind of blogging and boy do I have tons of ideas. Screen Shot 2018-01-08 at 8.31.48 AM

For today’s post I want to start off with my goals for 2018. I know I am a little late for the new year new me posts but that’s okay. My resolutions or goals for 2018 are the following:

  1. I want to lose 25lbs. Now I am not one to care about the scale so this is an arbitrary number but I needed a goal. I want to love my body and the way it looks in my clothes. Plus I have a honeymoon coming up!!
  2. Continue to blog and post at least twice a week.
  3. Exercise a minimum of 4x a week.
  4. Drink a gallon of water a day.
  5. Be less bothered by little things.

Remember it is not about being perfect or only being able to start goals because it is the new year. I have already messed up my diet many times this new year, it is about keeping on and trying. Don’t give up!!

October Goals

Who else is super excited it is October?? I think it just kicks off the holidays season. Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas! I always get super excited and go all out! So let’s jump into some goals.

  • My first goal is to continue on my healthy/happy body image. I want to lose a little weight, which I have spoken about before and I was doing great but now I need to step it up and not fall off the train. I want to get into posting outfit photos and I need to be happy and confident with my body in order to do so.
  • Next I want to dress and makeup myself more. Even if I am not going anywhere I need to get out of my PJ’s and put an outfit together and do my hair and makeup. I think that will help me with my first goal as well.
  • For October I really wanted to do my first Blogtober. I can’t promise I will post every day but I want to really try my best!! I also have been working on many SFX looks and I will be trying my best to post a new SFX look on my instagram each day so definitely take a moment and go follow me on Instagram! I will of course share some of the looks on here as well.

I’m keeping this month very simple because I have big goals and I graduate with my Masters in Public Health!!!!!! Yayyyy!!!

It’s BLOGTOBER!!

Screen Shot 2017-09-28 at 9.41.34 AMI really want to put my best effort in to doing Blogtober for the first time. With the help of some fabulous twitter friends I have some great Ideas for what to right about! So if you are new to blogtober, like me, let me introduce you. I will be writing some of my normal posts like monthly goals and a few reviews but I will also post some fall outfits, makeup looks, decor, recipes, and of course Halloween looks!

Writing a post everyday in October is going to take quite a bit of work but I think it will be so fun. Who doesn’t love fall?? It seems like people go crazy when it finally hits autumn. Even though it is still 90 degrees here where I live I want to be full on in the spirit of fall! I hope you enjoy and hopefully this will be a great success!

September Goals

This months goals I want to keep similar to August.

  • Keep working on myself. Not let things bother me and not get upset over things I “think” but haven’t or aren’t going to happen.
  • Stay consistent and keep growing my blog/social medias. I have been doing so good but every once in a while I get distracted and I need to continue working really hard.
  • Focus on being healthy and making healthy choices and being active. Not solely focused on losing weight.
  • Be more organized. I keep everyone one else in my house organized and I stay organized with homework but my room and my spaces in the house need revamped

I think this is actually kind of a lot to stay up on for this month but I know I can do it!!

August Goals

I have seen a few of my fellow bloggers write post like this and I thought it was a great idea. Keep me more aware and oriented on accomplishing some goals whether big or small.

  1. Continue blogging regularly, coming up with ideas and creating content. Consistency is key with just about everything.
  2. Work out at least 5 times a week for 30 minutes. Continue to eat better and continue my health journey.
  3. Be better about accessorizing and dressing. Most days I find myself never getting out of my PJ’s just to shower and get back into new PJ’s. But I stay home most of the time. I have tons of clothes and jewelry and they deserve as much love as my makeup gets.. or at least close lol
  4. Be less crazy… this would take a lot of explaining but I let little things bother me and I am actively working on changing my thought process on things.
  5. Try to film and take pictures more often. Blogging and being very active on social media can be a lot of work but it also can be fun and is necessary if you want to continue to grow!

Alright I am ready to tackle August! I am feeling good and am super motivated to accomplish goals!
