How To Get Silky Smooth Hair

Silky smooth hair seems to be what you see every model, youtuber, and gorgeous girl on pinterest has. Everyone wants super silky smooth hair and I am going to tell you how to achieve it quickly and easily! Follow along and I’m sure you will get great results.image4

  1. Start with clean, wet hair. I like to spray some It’s a 10 or any heat protector you like throughout your hair and brush it through.
  2. Then I add my absolute favorite product which is the silkening oil treatment from Aquage. Start from the ends of your hair and work it up so that you do not get your scalp greasy. This will make your hair super silky and soft, shiny and smell amazing! Brush this through as well.
  3. This step is probably most important. Blow dry your hair while brushing. This will prevent tangles and fly aways getting out of hand.
  4. Lastly use a flat iron to smooth out your hair and tame any fly aways there might be.                                                                IMG_2495

May’s Hits and Misses

I didn’t try out a ton of new products in the month of may so this won’t be a long list. Next month tho will be a doozy! I have placed some online orders and there are some more launches coming in June that I have to get my hands on!

So on to the hits and misses: Let’s start with what was a hit!

First off I have been 100% OBSESSED with this moisturizer for Baby K. Eucerin Baby Eczema Relief Body Creme. Get this NOW! If your baby has dry skin at all this will banish it so quickly! And no baby does not have to have eczema in order to use this. I even use it on my self. I have gone through every baby moisturizer on the market and this stuff is the bomb dot com.

Okay so I know I have mentioned this before but the body moisturizer that I have created for the stretch mark remedy is my newest love. It is a solid moisturizer so I am still working on ways to package it but it literally melts into the skin and smells amazing. I love it so much!

Lastly for my hits is a hair tool/accessory. The Beachwaver Co. The Wrap Up has been my go to for doing my hair lately. My husband got promoted and we had an awards banquet to go to and I needed to look nice for these events other than my usual messy bun and yoga pants. If you know me at all you would know I have super long thick hair and I HATE styling it. This little guy allows me to create the perfect bun with no effort.

Misses: I really only have one that I tried out this month and it is from Burts Bees Baby. I know there are those people out there who love burts bees products but I wasn’t a huge fan. I used the baby wash while on vacation and I found it very liquidy which I didn’t like. I like using a thicker wash on Baby K. I also am not in love with the smell.. Oh well win some and lose some.

What products were you loving or not loving this past month?! Let me know!!
