Ulta Haul!!

I have been going a little crazy shopping lately.. my excuse is my birthday. That works right? Anyways if you haven’t seen my SheIn haul check it out here What I’m Packing For a Caribbean Honeymoon. I got tons of great stuff for so little money! But now it’s time to jump in to what I got at Ulta!IMG_4847

First I had to get my hands on the BH Weekend Festival Palette ( 18$ ). It has 20 vibrant and insanely pigment rich colors. I do wish it had one matte light pale color to use as a base but other than that there are so many looks to be made!! I can’t wait to dive in to it! IMG_4852Next up I got a kit from Lorac called the Sun Kissed Glow Collection ( 34$ ). It includes a bronzer, blush, and highlighter. I thought this was an amazing deal. I really love Lorac’s products. I feel like they don’t get enough recognition but I own practically the whole collection.. Just so good!!! IMG_4850IMG_4851

I picked up some Ardell Items because they were on sale and I can always use spare lashes and glue. So I got a duo pack of wispies and the Duo brush-on dark adhesive ( both were 3.59$ ). They always look good, stay all day, and don’t look too crazy.

I lastly picked up two items based on Youtuber recommendations. I got the essence Brighten Up! Banana Powder ( 4.99$ ) and the NYX Pigment Primer ( 6.49$ ). I will let you know what I think. So far I have tried the brighten powder and I do enjoy it.

So I did get a free gift with spending so much which was awesome. It was a makeup bag filled with lipsticks! I got to choose from nudes or bright colors and of course I chose bright! IMG_4849From left to right I have a lipstick queen, nyx velvet matte, e.l.f., maybelline superstay matte, makeup revolution, and models own. And below are swatches in the same order from the bottom.IMG_4848

That is it for this haul friends! As always leave me what you are loving in the comments so I can check it out!

Your Lash Bar Review

Your Lash Bar: Full review. Friends lets jump in!

As part of my goals I set for myself each month, I usually have one that is about getting dressed and accessorizing and in general putting myself together more often/better, even if I don’t leave the house. So as part of that, that means putting my face together. I always look for new lashes and I have some that are absolutely amazing and love but that doesn’t mean I don’t continue to look for others for my collection. I have decided to try out this brand Your Lash Bar which I found on instagram.

They are super affordable: 3 for 15$ or 5 for 25$ or 6$ each. IMG_2397I picked up these 3 styles. Top left is Kamikaze. Top right is Bellini. Bottom is Manhattan. All their lashes are named after drinks, so cute! I also picked up this lash applicator tool, I usually use tweezers which works great but I thought I would give this a try. I love the packaging. The marble with the rose gold lettering and the drink glasses in the letters. All the little details are beautiful.

The lashes are nice quality at such a great price. They are not too heavy and don’t weigh down the eyes, which of course is important. Bellini and Manhattan will definitely be staples in my lash rotation. Kamikaze will probably be more for special looks and photos because of how over the top they are.

Overall these lashes are a total hit! Give them a try and let me know what you think!

E.L.F. Newness Review

Alright friends I have tested out many of the new products from E.L.F that I had recently purchased and here are my initial thoughts.

  • Clarifying Charcoal Bubble Mask- I really enjoyed this mask. It did tingle a bit as I let it bubble on my face for about 10 minutes. After rinsing it off my skin was left clean, tight, and smooth. I would definitely recommend it!
  • Lock On Face Primer- I have only used the primer once but.. this primer is very tacky and kind of thick. I like it but it is almost a little difficult to use. When I applied my foundation it went on a little patchy. Not sure this is really a win for me, I’ll have to keep testing out using it.
  • Blending Sponge- This is a little like the beauty blender but when you wet it, it gets huge! I have to give it a few more tries because with that primer it was just a difficult day for foundation. They are super soft tho!
  • Beauty Shield Antioxidant Finishing Powder- I really like this powder. It was super smooth and silky and photographed well. This one is a win!
  • Bronzer- I got the shade light matte. I like this bronzer because you could build it up and it was the perfect cool tone for contouring but also warm enough to warm up the skin a bit.
  • Blush- Shade bright pink. I actually love this color! It looks really nice on the skin and can be built up. Winner!
  • Highlight- Shade Glow. This shade was beautiful but not blinding. It also was much more golden of a highlight than I expected but still very pretty for an everyday glow.
  • Liquid Matte Lipstick- This is the last product I tried out so far and I really loved it. It does require 2 layers to get a super full opaque look. The color I am wearing in the picture is Vampy Violet.

photo1IMG_2384From bottom to top: highlighter, blush, bronzer, liquid matte lipstick in the colors- vampy violet, smokey taupe, coffee(sorry it smeared), lip liner- natural and deep berry.

I have just a few last products to try still but so far things have been pretty great!

HUSH first time review

Hello friends!! I recently found out about the hush app from a youtuber and I can’t believe I didn’t know about it sooner! There are so many products at amazing prices. I started off purchasing two eyeshadow palettes and a liquid eye liner. I am beyond impressed.

First Item I got was this Aphrodite palette by Bad Habit. You have probably heard about this palette already, and it was sold out for so long but came back in stock recently. This palette is a great dupe for the Huda Beauty eye shadow palette. And comes at a way better price point of only 10$!!! The pigmentation is amazing and will definitely will be a staple, go to palette for me. I hope this brand does a dupe for the newest Huda Beauty palette.

The next palette I got for the colors. I am so ready for fall looks and these colors where just calling my name. The pans are huge and only costs 8$!! The color payoff is really nice for the price. It is not amazing but it is good. IMG_2319Lastly I got this eyeliner as a free gift but I believe it only cost 3 or 4$. I have to say this is probably my new favorite liquid liner. I have been wanting to find one I really love and I think I got it. All without spending 20!! This is by the brand kleancolor and it is waterproof. Best of all I received all the items in 3 days!! Such fast shipping!

Okay guys go check out Hush for some incredible deals and let me know what you try out!

30 Days of New New- ELF Cosmetics

Whoa whoa whoa!!! As you guys already know I am obsessed with ELF Cosmetics! They are so affordable and I would say about 90% of the time their products are BOMB!!! If you don’t already know they are currently doing 30 days of new new, as they are calling it. ELF is releasing a new product everyday for the month of September. I sort of have some love hate for this because I want to see everything they are coming out with and I already know I want multiple products and there is no way I am going to put in an order everyday I want something. A little crazy right? Not sure their thinking behind this. And boom. As soon as I say this, they release the whole collection!

Here are a few of the products they have brought out. Of course you can see them all on their website.

So far they have brought out some liquid lipsticks, silicone sponges/blenders, a brush set, highlighters, and bronzers, and much more. It is super exciting and I can’t wait till the end of the month so I just put in a huge order so I’ll upload a haul/review for y’all!!!

Currently still working on lots of Halloween looks. If you have any suggestions for looks you would like to see please leave me comments. Also Let me know in the comments what brands/collections are coming out with new things maybe for holiday!?

Talk to you Friday!

Ulta and Target Haul

I have done a little bit of shopping with my mom in town this past weekend. Here is what I got! IMG_1972First off I’m sorry about the photo quality, my flash wasn’t working properly. Any who! I absolutely love Target, what girl doesn’t? I can’t pass up the 1,3,5$ dollar section in the front of the store which is where I got this super cute note pad for notes and lists. If you know me, you know I love making lists! While at Target I also picked up the elf brow cream which works really great! and it is only 3$! I also picked up the Shea Moisture Mommy stretchmark repair cream and spray oil. I have been testing this out and will let you know how I like it later. Lastly from Target I got the heel genius cream by Soap&Glory.

From Ulta I had a 20% coupon and so I picked up this blue nail polish which will be perfect for my nails for my Son’s birthday party. I also got the Bronze Goddess body oil, picked it up for my honeymoon. Plus I love the smell of bronze Goddess. I got 2 matte liquid lip colors from Rimmel London, a foundation from models own, and a dry brush which I talked about earlier.

I love all my purchases and can’t wait to try the rest of the items I haven’t had the chance to yet!

till next time

xoxo Erin
