YSL Vinyl Lip Cream Stain Review

Hello Friends! I can not believe I forgot to post yesterday!!!! OMG, I was doing so good. Oh well no use crying over spilled milk. Any ways I mentioned before that I won a contest on twitter and I received two YSL Vinyl Lip Cream Stains. I wanted to share my thoughts on them!

My swatches aren’t amazing but the left is shade 403- Rose Happening and the right is 402- Rouge Remix. I am utterly obsessed with these lip vinyls. They are incredibly creamy and smooth, leaving your lips feeling super soft. They also stain the lip leaving a lasting color all day. They layer over other lip colors very well also. So if you aren’t a huge fan of how liquid matte lipsticks can leave your lips feeling, these will soften them up!

Overall I would definitely say these are amazing and definitely approved. The only set back is that they are 36$ each… Super steep for a lip color but the formula is awesome. Something I would have never purchased myself if I didn’t win it. But now I want them all!!

ABH Prism Palette

I dunno about y’all but I am living for the Anastasia Beverly Hills Prism Palette. It is so unique and pretty!!! What do you all think? Is it worth 42$ I have seen some videos where the quality is way up from the subculture blow up. I am just living for the unique colors.                                                                               Screen Shot 2017-10-10 at 3.51.06 PM

I secretly am hoping that Bad Habit will make a dupe for it so that I don’t have to spend 42$ but who knows maybe I will break down and buy it??

Perfect Fall Lip Color

Happy Sunday! For today’s post I am talking about a lip color combination that I did for a picture the other day and I have become obsessed with it!

So from my ELF haul I had purchased some liquid lip colors that I wouldn’t normally purchase but I wanted to try something different and more fall. So I first put on the liquid lip color in the shade coffee. It is a pretty brown shade with a touch of orange. To make it a bit more wearable for myself I added a bit of the YSL vinyl cream lip stain in the shade 402 rouge remix. I used a lip brush as to not mix the coffee color into the ysl. IMG_2509

The YSL lip color is more expensive and high end which you can mix up with whatever color you like. I actually won two shades from a giveaway on twitter which is so exciting! I never win anything.                            Screen Shot 2017-10-07 at 12.29.42 PM

Overall I really love the way this color turned out. What are your favorite fall lip colors?? Let me know in the comments!

Cat’s Pajamas Palette…

Hey friends! Happy Saturday! So for todays post I wanted to see what everyone was thinking about Laura Lee’s Cat’s Pajamas eye shadow palette. When I first saw her swatch and talk about the palette I have to admit I was super underwhelmed. It is a pretty palette but the black doesn’t seem to be very pitch black and even though I die for a fantastic cranberry and gold eye shadow shades.. I just don’t think the palette is worth 40$.                                                   IMG_2499 The packaging is beautiful but it doesn’t seem to all match with the flowers and glitter to me. I also don’t think there is a great mixture of matte colors in the palette. IMG_2500 Who ever swatched this did make the black look better than Laura did in her video but I am still super unsure. I also understand that it comes down to 4$ an eyeshadow but I can’t get over the fact that I can get the Morphe 35F palette with very similar shades, 35 colors, and only a price of 23$..

I can’t wait to see what people do with the palette and what they think. Let me know in the comments if you are going to purchase and what you think about her palette!!!

Best Fall Palette!!!

Guys I have been talking about this palette for a minute now and I finally have time to get this review up. You seriously can’t beat this deal! Bad Habit has quickly become one of my favorite indie brands that I have stumbled across. They make some seriously amazing dupes and it only cost 10$… 10$!!!!!!! This is the Retro Love palette.IMG_2433 It is a fantastic dupe for the Anastasia Beverly Hills Subculture palette. At only a quarter of the price. It is really just unbelievable. The colors are creamy and pigmented and I literally can’t put this palette down. I have worn it almost everyday since I purchased it. It is the perfect fall palette and you can create so many looks with it.

I can’t wait to see what else Bad Habit comes out with because lately they have been crushing it!

Till next time friends, ps go buy this palette!

E.L.F. Newness Review

Alright friends I have tested out many of the new products from E.L.F that I had recently purchased and here are my initial thoughts.

  • Clarifying Charcoal Bubble Mask- I really enjoyed this mask. It did tingle a bit as I let it bubble on my face for about 10 minutes. After rinsing it off my skin was left clean, tight, and smooth. I would definitely recommend it!
  • Lock On Face Primer- I have only used the primer once but.. this primer is very tacky and kind of thick. I like it but it is almost a little difficult to use. When I applied my foundation it went on a little patchy. Not sure this is really a win for me, I’ll have to keep testing out using it.
  • Blending Sponge- This is a little like the beauty blender but when you wet it, it gets huge! I have to give it a few more tries because with that primer it was just a difficult day for foundation. They are super soft tho!
  • Beauty Shield Antioxidant Finishing Powder- I really like this powder. It was super smooth and silky and photographed well. This one is a win!
  • Bronzer- I got the shade light matte. I like this bronzer because you could build it up and it was the perfect cool tone for contouring but also warm enough to warm up the skin a bit.
  • Blush- Shade bright pink. I actually love this color! It looks really nice on the skin and can be built up. Winner!
  • Highlight- Shade Glow. This shade was beautiful but not blinding. It also was much more golden of a highlight than I expected but still very pretty for an everyday glow.
  • Liquid Matte Lipstick- This is the last product I tried out so far and I really loved it. It does require 2 layers to get a super full opaque look. The color I am wearing in the picture is Vampy Violet.

photo1IMG_2384From bottom to top: highlighter, blush, bronzer, liquid matte lipstick in the colors- vampy violet, smokey taupe, coffee(sorry it smeared), lip liner- natural and deep berry.

I have just a few last products to try still but so far things have been pretty great!
