Boxy Charm (BOXY LUXE) Wild Flower- September 2018

Hello Friends! I have been on a bit of a break because of being so dang sick! This baby is determined to take all my food and all my energy but I definitely got a boost with the arrival of my Boxy Luxe box.

First I want to talk about the launch of Boxy Luxe. It was a bit messy. I think it’s crazy for the company to not think they would have the amount of traffic they did especially with how much they hyped it up. I am beyond grateful I did get thru and received the box. I didn’t think I did at first. It wasn’t until hours later my bestie told me that we did in fact make it on the list!! Talk about an emotional day. Any who lets jump into the goods!

IMG_6607Here she is in all her glory. Let me just say it is so much better in person. I don’t think I have ever been so excited for a box! IMG_6610First up I  received the Park Ave Princess Chisel Palette from tarte. It is stunning and smells like chocolate which is oh so delicious. The shades blend like a dream with amazing pigment and super creaminess. This would also double as a great quick neutral eye palette! MSRP – 45$

Next pictured is the Pretty Vulgar Nightingale Smokey Eyeshadow Palette. This is a very pretty neautral palette in which you can create multiple looks. It has nice pigment and blends well. There are also chocolately colors as well as greys. MSRP – 35$

Lastly pictured is the Girlactik Skin Glow Duo. I was really excited about this at first but I do wish I would have gotten the Laura Gellar blush instead now. This is a cream highlight and just doesn’t pack the punch that I love but I will have to keep playing with it to see if I can change my mind. MSRP – 26$

IMG_6609Next up I received the Juice Beauty Stem Cellular Anti-wrinkle Booster Serum. I am sooo excited about this serum. I am die hard for the lancome genifique but it is crazy expensive. I am hoping to love this product just as much and maybe have a new favorite serum. Also happy I received the serum instead of the moisturizer because I am currently drowning in moisturizers. lol Juice Beauty is a great all natural, cruelty free brand and I may have to grab more products! MSRP – 80$

Pictured in the middle is the Sol De Janeiro Ipanema Sunset Glow Oil. This of course smells so amazing like everything else they make and leaves skin with a very natural glow. I thought it would be over the top but it’s really perfect even if you aren’t super tan like moi. MSRP – 35$

Lastly pictured is the Smashbox Photo Finish Primer Water in the scent centering citrus. It does smell good and leave the skin refreshed but I’m not sure yet if it does anything as a primer. Further testing will have to be done. MSRP – 32$

IMG_6611Who isn’t excited to get brushes?? I have a ton and I always want more. I honestly wanted to purchase these alamar Ojitos brushes just on how cute they are with that green. Lucky for me I thought they would show up in a boxy charm box eventually, so I waited. They are super soft and apply shadow beautifully but I do prefer a natural hair brush for blending. MSRP – 18$

As for this Luxie 732 Airbrush Foundation Brush… well let’s just talk about luxury! It is so soft and my foundation is blended like a dream. It is pricey but OMG it is so amazing. New favorite for sure! MSRP – 38$IMG_6612Lastly in the box I received R+Co High Dive Moisture Shine Cream. I haven’t tried this out yet so the verdict is out still. But I’m not a huge fan of hair products. I will give it a fair chance tho. MSRP – 16$

I got the Lorac Pro Liquid Lipstick. I’m so obsessed with this true red shade. Nude colors just don’t look great on me and I’m all about bold lips. That makes a statement that I love. MSRP – 19$

Last in the picture is the Vintage Cosmetic Company Dolly Bow Make-up Headband. Perfect for keeping your hair back as you clean your skin, apply makeup, or relax with a face mask. MSRP – 4.99$

Oh and don’t forget that super cute tote! That was unexpected. If you weren’t keeping that is a value of $348.99. That is just amazing and So exciting! Boxycharm slays the game again!

Boxy Charm

It’s my favorite day of the month once again! You know that means I just received my boxy charm box and I am giving you my first reactions to opening it. I was over the moon about the sneak peeks that were going to be in this months box. Okay I just ran out to the mailbox and opened up my box so let’s jump in! This month every charmer got 6 products for just 21$ which is absolutely amazing!IMG_5934

  • First and most excitingly we received the Reina Del Caribe palette from Alamar. This palette is so gorgeous and I can’t wait to try out some looks with it this week. There is a mix of mattes, shimmers, and metallics. Absolutely stunning!!! Retails for 28$.IMG_5941
  • Next we go the Monroe Silk Lashes by Battington. They are a 3-D multi-layered silk lashes. They look pretty, not as dramatic as I normally wear but I will definitely put them to the test. Retails for 28$.IMG_5937
  • Then we received the Brazilian Bum Bum Cream from Sol De Janeiro. I am so excited to test this product out! It is supposed to help smooth and tighten your body and I can definitely use that. This is a smaller size, not a full tub. Retails for 10$img_5940.jpg
  • Next up all charmers received a 3 piece flawless complexion brush set from Luxie Beauty. I am a brush addict so I am always excited to add new brushes to my collection and these are no exception. These synthetic brushes are so soft and well constructed. Retails for 42$IMG_5936
  • The next two products may vary per charmer. I got a waterproof eyeliner pencil by Jonteblu in the shade charcoal. I have this pencil in other colors and they work pretty well. I just don’t tend to reach for them so this is the only product that I may not reach for much. Retails for 5$IMG_5938
  • Lastly I got a long lasting liquid lipstick from Ofra in the shade Verona. I tend to wear mostly bright colors so I am hoping my mom received a brighter color to trade with me. I really love the lasting power of liquid lipsticks because I tend to forget to reapply but I am hoping normal lipsticks come back in trend. They just rock. Retails for 21$IMG_5939

So that is everything for this month. I already can’t wait to find out what July has in store!!! This was 134$ worth of product for just 21$!! If you haven’t signed up for boxy charm what are you waiting for??

Till next time friends!

Eden Rose- Amazing Lashes???

Hello friends! How is your may going? I personally can’t complain, May has be great so far and I know will only get better. Recently I was reached out to by shopedenrose, com to select lashes for free, just pay shipping. This is not a promotion or special for me! Head over there and get your own lashes too!

There are tons of styles of 3D faux mink lashes. I picked out 4 styles, they have since added a lot more! They would normally be 20$ a pair but right now they are 0$!!! shop here. I am not getting paid to say anything, I was actually just blown away with how much I loved the lashes! They are super light weight and fluffy.

IMG_5417Screen Shot 2018-05-10 at 5.34.10 AMScreen Shot 2018-05-10 at 5.34.28 AM Here are the four styles I chose and I am beyond obsessed. I already packed a couple in my makeup bag for my honeymoon. I don’t like when lashes have too thick of a band or feel too heavy. These are seriously close to perfection. They have a thin band and are so wispy and feel natural.

I think I may have to get my hands on the last few styles that I didn’t order! Definitely check them out friends!!!!!

March Boxy Charm!!

You have to know by now that this is my favorite day of the month. I mean, makeup has been delivered to my door!!! This months box was good and I’m so excited about it. From the sneak peeks I saw I couldn’t wait to get my fingers on the goodies.IMG_4243

So let’s jump in to the Bae-cation boxy charm box.

Let’s start out with the most exciting item which is the Pur cosmetics X Boxycharm eyeshadow palette. It is drop dead gorgeous. The peaches, the mattes, the shimmers, and my favorite summer color- a bright pop of blue. Retails 36$ and you can find it at Ulta or Purcosmetics.com. The colors are stunning and blend like a dream with major color payoff!                                        IMG_4250

Next a Mascara from Bellapierre Cosmetics. MSRP: 20$ This guy promises long lasting, volumizing mascara formulated to help create thicker and fuller lashes. After testing this one, it was a super disappointment. Not a huge deal since I wear false lashes but for the days I don’t… I will not be reaching for this at all.                                         IMG_4249

South Mane Beauty gave us Under Eye Gels for 10$ These make for a great easy mask without the clean up. They soften and moisturize to ensure that you look rested and refreshed.                                                                                              IMG_4246

The Vintage Cosmetic Company gave us a Smokey Eye Makeup Brush Set retailing at 23.15$ This brush set trio will enable you to create a stunning smokey eye. The brushes are so soft and who doesn’t love getting new brushes?? I know I’m a total addict. After testing these guys out I do like them for packing on color but probably won’t be my number one go to brushes. Still very nice tho! IMG_4248

I was so excited to get this Blush from Pretty Vulgar. I adore their packaging with the vintage look. I know Boxycharm sent out two shades and even though I didn’t get the shade I was hoping for, the one I got is still really pretty. The blush runs for 26$ The color I received was called Prim Vixen and it is so insanely bright.. Must go in with the lightest of hand.                                                                     IMG_4247

If you added that up, that is just over 115$ worth of product for only 21$!!!! I love this box so much!!! Definitely sign up while there is no waitlist!

Bad Habit Review- MUST TRY!

Hey friends! I know I have baby fever and I have lots of mommy posts prepped and ready but trust me I have not forgot about beauty and how much I love all things makeup!

If you have been with me a while you know that since becoming a mom I love finding amazing affordable makeup that performs high end but costs drug store. I know some people have expressed how they have a problem with companies making dupes of high end products but I love it, if it is done well. Bad Habit Beauty is a bomb.com company with whom I am obsessed with!!! You can purchase Bad Habit through the Hush app.

Wanna know how much I love Bad Habit?? I have purchased every item they have made!!!! Everything has been amazing quality and such a great option if you can’t afford or don’t want to spend 45$ on a palette. BHB makes dupes for many palettes like many of the Anastasia Beverly Hills palettes and Huda Beauty.

IMG_4078

To the left is the newest collection from Bad Habit Beauty. It is a great dupe for the Huda Beauty Obsessions eyeshadow palettes which run 27$ a palette. The Bad Habit palettes run 10$ each or bundle all 4 palettes for 30$. It is really amazing that they can get such great quality product and fantastic packaging for such a low price.

IMG_4079

The Hush app is a must for any beauty lover. They have so many amazing brands and some other brands I have never heard of, but I can confidently tell you that Bad Habit Beauty is a must!!!!

Wonderland Makeup Test and Review

Hello friends! I am back with another review for you. This time is a collaboration with the UK brand Wonderland. So without further ado let’s jump right in.

Wonderland sent me a primer, two pigments and a mascara. The package was so cute and I wanted to start with the packaging. IMG_3919 I love the simple black and white packaging. It’s clean and sleek and allows you to see what the product is clearly.

IMG_3920

Studio Finish Primer. I give this primer a 5 out of 5! It really is one of the best primers I have used. My skin was extremely smooth, pores were all filled, and my foundation went on so perfectly. Even in my normal editing process I didn’t have to touch my skin. I was truly impressed by this primer. My foundation also lasted all day without budging. This is a must try product! https://www.wonderlandmakeup.co.uk/primer/

IMG_3922

Next product is the Wonderdust Loose Pigment. I have the colors Pandora (left) and Halo (right). I give these pigments 4.5 out of 5. I will say in my opinion you do need some sort of base or glitter glue to get an intense color pay off. These pigments are packaged so perfectly. They contain a sifter so you do not make a huge mess which is so nice compared to most other pigments I’ve seen on the market. https://www.wonderlandmakeup.co.uk/pigment/

IMG_3923

Wonderland Lash Thickening Mascara. 4 out of 5. This mascara is perfect for someone who loves a more natural look. For me it was the perfect mascara to coat my lashes before applying false lashes. I do wish that it gave my lashes more volume and length. It did however separate my lashes and left them without a single clump! This mascara wasn’t out of this world but it was really nice. Just apply more than one coat and you are ready to go!!https://www.wonderlandmakeup.co.uk/mascara/

IMG_4013

Here is the look I created using these products. My skin never smoother and I used the blue as a base for the Halo pigment and the mascara coated my lashes of course. I had so much fun trying out these products and I will definetely have to try more!

xoxo Erin

The Ink Gel Eyeliner- Pretty Vulgar Review

Hello friends! How was your weekend? We had a friend stay with us which I always love. I love entertaining!! Any ways, I ordered this gel liner based on recommendations from youtubers. It was raved about and I couldn’t wait to try it out. I have to say I was so disappointed with this product. My overall rating would be a 2 out of 5 stars and lets dive in to why.. IMG_3811

The packaging is stunning. I love how it looks like an old timey ink pot. The copper/gold is beautiful. Gold and black is my favorite combination. The unicarton is also beautiful. The font and script, I love everything about it. And the container makes you feel like you are getting a lot of product.

Next this liner is EXTREMELY pigmented. It is black as it gets which I really like and was surprised but how dark it actually was. A little bit goes a long way which is awesome. I think this liner would really last someone a long time.

Unfortunately there are negatives for me.. As always your experience could be totally different. IMG_3827This was right after applying the liner so it hadn’t smudged yet, but I don’t think this product is for those of us with oily eyelids. After only a couple hours my liner had transferred to my upper lids and the bottom was very smudged and smokey… It wasn’t cute. I hope y’all have different experience with the liner. It claims to be waterproof and last all day but I didn’t get that pleasure.

Lastly it was an expensive liner. At 24$ I want a liner that lasts until I decide to take it off.

Have you tried pretty vulgar liner? What was your experience?

till next time

xoxo Erin
