I was so excited to receive my first BoxyCharm box!! I debated on whether or not to get it for quite some time and I am so glad I gave in and signed up! It is 21$ a month but if you sign up for more months you can get a bit of a discount. IMG_2012This months box them was Beach Please and included: a Moda Pro, 3 piece brush set from Royal and Langnickle which retails for 26$, A waterproof gel eyeliner by bellapierre which retails for 15$, Pro eyelashes by PUR cosmetics which retails for 14$, #GRLPWR liquid lipstick by the beauty crop retailing for 14.95$ and lastly the Rainforest of the sea: volume 2 by Tarte retailing for 36$.

Foot Mask Review

OMG. Friends two weeks ago I tested out a foot mask I purchased on Amazon. It is from Mond’Sub and is the sage exfoliator foot mask. It was only 3$ if I am not mistaken and I received two treatments. IMG_1883 I followed the directions by applying the mask and leaving it on for an hour then rinsing my feet. It says within 3-7 days feet should begin to peel. After removing the mask and rinsing and letting my feet dry, my feet felt like paper mache. It was so bizarre.

Here I am two weeks later and my feet are still peeling and it is so strange. I was expecting to peel in larger sheets but no it is quite the opposite. Sounds gross to write about it. If you do decide to do a foot mask I would reccomend picking up a really good foot moisturizer to help your feet out!! I’m testing one out I picked up Monday so I will let you know how I like it in a later post.

Overall I do not think I will be purchasing another foot mask. My feet are super soft where the skin has peeled but weeks of snake feet is bizarre and I don’t like it. Maybe I will stop being a cheapo and go get a fancy pedicure. haha!

Till next time

Moisture Bomb Mask Review- Collab with Cassixmakeup

Hey loves! This week I have collabed on a review with cassixmakeup! She has an awesome beauty blog, so definitely go check it out! I get hooked after I start reading one post then I realize I am like 10 deep! So once I saw her put out the collab request I immediately emailed her! She is so kind and sweet and I was so excited to do this collab!

So we decided on reviewing theĀ  moisture bomb mask from Garnier and after searching for it in the skincare section for 20 minutes I began to give up… Didn’t realize they are sheet masks. So I picked a couple up! They have 3 different ones, I picked up the pink and blue which are supposed to be super moisturizing and glow enhancing. IMG_1887After testing them out I found them a little different. When I first put the mask on it didn’t really fit my big eyes and the serum was getting in my eyes. After peeling the blue sheet off the mask I was able to work with it much easier.

Please ignore my crazy hair, I had just got done scrubbing makeup off my face. I had begun halloween looks this day. After 15 minutes I took the mask off and messaged the remaining serum into my skin just as the directions stated. I have to say I really liked the masks. My skin felt revived and moisturized, especially after all the paint was removed. My skin also had a little glow to it, which is always appreciated.

Go check out Cassi’s post to see what she thought about the mask!!

Till next time loves

ps What did you think about collab posts?? Leave me comments!

New Maybelline Review

OMG finally got around to testing out these lipsticks and a few other products. Maybelline recently came out with a lot of new products and I’m always excited to try out affordable collections! The new product launch included new mini eye palettes, brushes, lip products, setting powder, color corrector, and more. It was a pretty large launch! Out of it I purchased 2 brushes, 2 lip products, and the setting powder.

These the two superstay matte lips that I purchased in the colors dreamer and lover. I have to say they last SOOO long!!! Literally all day wear without having to touch up. I am super impressed. And I think I found my perfect nude with the color dreamer! I have been searching so long to find a bomb nude and I will continue but this one is great!

The finishing powder is really nice and very soft but it isn’t going to replace my Laura Mercier. I do like it and if you are looking for a inexpensive setting powder this is definitely worth a shot!

Screen Shot 2017-08-02 at 9.55.55 AMScreen Shot 2017-08-02 at 9.56.06 AMAt Walmart Maybelline launched brushes. I picked these two up. The foundation and contour brush. I will be honest I was shook at the price. 10$ a piece. I do like them because they are super soft and nice but knowing I can get brushes cheaper from Morphe shook me.

Till next time loves

July Hits and Misses

I know I say it every month and I will probably continue to say it but WHEH! This month flew by!! It seems like the older you get the quicker the time flies by. So I do not have near as much as last month. In June I had purchased lots of products and tested them out. This month I have a few but not near as many. Okay so let’s jump in!Screen Shot 2017-08-02 at 9.38.31 AM

  1. Bite Beauty Agave Lip Mask- Lately my lips have been getting so chapped between the heat and the excessive testing of lip products. This is the one product that is truly amazing! I put it on at night and my lips are super moisturized and healed in the morning. This is a must have product for me!
  2. Mont Bleu Nail tools- I was able to test these products out recently and they are truly amazing and stunning. Studded in swarovski crystals they are beautiful to look at and have made a big difference in my nail routine!
  3. Colourpop Fem Rosa collection- OMG colourpop has done it again. Super affordable and beautiful color pay off. The lips are fantastic and the eyeshadows are a creamy dream.
  4. Garnier SkinActive Clean+ Pore Purifying 2-in-1 Clay Cleanser/mask- Last month I told you about a facial cleanser that I didn’t like at all, well this month I found one that I actually enjoy. I love that it doubles as a mask and it keeps my skin really clear.
  5. Munchkin weighted straw sippy cup- Okay so I threw one in for my moms out there. I haven’t added a baby one in a while because well I hadn’t had anything new to try out besides food. But these sippy cups are awesome! Because of the straw and the way everything attaches there are no leaks!!

For the misses this month I only have 2.

  1. Take and Toss sippy cups- These bad boys work… but they leak so badly!! Only put water in them if you decide to use them.
  2. E.L.F. toner- This toner was nothing special.. didn’t really do much for my skin so I don’t think it would be a repurchase.

That’s it for this month! Let me know what you loved and didn’t in the comments so I can try some new things out!!!

Fem Rosa Karrueche X Colourpop

I was going to be giving my thoughts on the new items from Maybelline but since I live in a small southern town we get everything super late so I am still waiting on some local stores to get the complete collection. So in the mean time I purchased the Fem Rosa collection and wanted to share its beauty! First off the packaging was so beautiful with the roses and the rose gold lettering. IMG_0137

Colourpop is known for its bomb products at super affordable prices. The palette retails for 16$ and has 12 shades. 8 Shimmer/satin and 4 matte. It is truly beautiful and has amazing color pay off. They are all in shades of pink, purple, plums, and rose golds. I love them!IMG_0139Next I got 2 lip shades from the collection in the colors Darling and MRS. They have great color pay off and are a satin finish. They are also currently doing a buy two lippies get one free, so for my free lip I got a ultra metallic lip in the shade kween. I am so excited to try this out because it is my first metallic lip!

Lastly I love that coloupop leaves little notes in their packages. Makes the whole experience extra special. I am also super excited that they are expanding their product line and will soon be carrying brushes and concealers. I will definitely let you know what my thoughts are on those!IMG_0142

till next time loves!

Mont Bleu Review!

Hello friends! It’s time for another review. I have typically been doing these on Friday but this week we will have 2 reviews. So, as I posted on twitter recently, I was contacted by a company called Mont Bleu to try out some of their products. I want to distress that this is 100% my own personal opinion. I am not being paid to write a review. Okay now that that is said I did receive some products for free to try out. I also was given a discount code for all my wonderful readers and subscribers. I do not get any compensation by anyone using this code so don’t feel as though this has swayed my opinion in any way. The code is BLOG.FullSizeRender(14)

Okay so now that I got the nitty gritty out of the way lets jump in. First off I used to do my nails all the time but stopped after having my son. I have began to jump back in to doing my nails more recently now that he is a little older. The products I was sent are so beautiful! I received two glass nail files in two sizes that were studded in swarovski crystals. A glass foot file. A swarovski crystal studded tweezers. And a glass cuticle stick.IMG_0136

Here are the items in and out of packaging and I attempted to get a close up of the crystal details. I have tried all the items out and I have to say I am super impressed. I would definitely recommend these to anyone looking for some fantastic nail tools. The files smoothed and shaped my nails in just a few swipes. The tweezers were so bomb!! I am always on the lookout for amazing tweezers and these are sooooo good! The cuticle stick did just what it is supposed to do except I didn’t break it like I do to all the wooden ones. I was most excited and interested to try out the foot file. As crazy as that sounds. I walk around barefoot everywhere. I simply hate wearing shoes. I know they are supposed to be a womens favorite accessory and I definitely have some amazing shoes but living where I do at the moment I never get to wear nice things or dress up. So barefoot I stay. That being said I have very rough feet. They don’t look gross by any means but they are very rough. I definitely put the foot file to work and though it didn’t take away a life time of walking bare foot on every terrain imaginable, it definitely smoothed them out and made them softer.IMG_0135

Woof! I am sorry this is so long! Everything was truly amazing and it was a great experience being able to try these products out. If you want to have some for your own I will leave a few links below and don’t forget to use code BLOG to save 20%!!
