Cute AF Collaboration

My fellow blogger and twitter friend, Kyles, reached out to me to do a collaboration. Now saying that we don’t live in the same city or state for that matter we had to get a little creative. So we chose a palette we both have and created looks. The palette we used was the Colourpop cute AF palette which is a super warm palette. Don’t forget to go check out and follow Kyles to see what she created!! you can find her : BLOG and TwitterIMG_3406 For this look I created I wanted something a little more simple than some of the looks I create because I had a ton of errands to run and had to take the baby to his checkup.

Out of the palette I layered and smoked colors over the lid starting with the lightest colors in the palette then gradually adding in darker colors but focusing them more on the outer corner. I used every matte shade except the yellow. Then to add a touch of shimmer and blend everything together I added the gold/orange shimmer in the bottom row.

I really love this palette but wish it had more dark tones in it. I find it almost a little difficult to create a whole look with the palette, It can be done but just not to what I love personally.

till next time!! Everyone who celebrates have a great Thanks Giving!!!!

Colourpop Review

Lately I have been getting so much new makeup! I love it and I’m not sure where to even start so I will begin with all the colourpop newness that I have. First off I got the “I Think I Love You” palette.                                                Screen Shot 2017-10-20 at 7.51.55 AM As you can see this palette is so stunning! It is perfect for creating everyday looks and includes some seriously stunning and pigmented shades. I absolutely live for a deep matte black and a shiny gold. There are great mattes in the palette for a perfect base and all the metallics add the perfect punch to any look! And only 16$ colourpop is a non brainer for the girl on a budget.

Next up I tried out their new brow pencils. Screen Shot 2017-10-20 at 8.05.30 AMIt is much like the original ABH auto pencil. Very thin tip with a nice spoolie on the other side. It is very creamy and the product is smooth. I don’t think it will replace my ABH dipbrow any time soon but this is a nice pencil to have!

Lastly my mom gave me this lippie. Screen Shot 2017-10-20 at 8.15.41 AM This is an ultra satin lip in the shade “First of All”. It is a rich raspberry shade and I love it! My mom typically only wears nudes so I get really excited when she gets bright colors because I know they will be mine! And this color is awesome, right up my ally.

Alright friends if you haven’t colourpop yet what are you waiting for?? The prices are so affordable and the products are seriously fantastic! A+ from me!!

YSL Vinyl Lip Cream Stain Review

Hello Friends! I can not believe I forgot to post yesterday!!!! OMG, I was doing so good. Oh well no use crying over spilled milk. Any ways I mentioned before that I won a contest on twitter and I received two YSL Vinyl Lip Cream Stains. I wanted to share my thoughts on them!

My swatches aren’t amazing but the left is shade 403- Rose Happening and the right is 402- Rouge Remix. I am utterly obsessed with these lip vinyls. They are incredibly creamy and smooth, leaving your lips feeling super soft. They also stain the lip leaving a lasting color all day. They layer over other lip colors very well also. So if you aren’t a huge fan of how liquid matte lipsticks can leave your lips feeling, these will soften them up!

Overall I would definitely say these are amazing and definitely approved. The only set back is that they are 36$ each… Super steep for a lip color but the formula is awesome. Something I would have never purchased myself if I didn’t win it. But now I want them all!!

Your Lash Bar Review

Your Lash Bar: Full review. Friends lets jump in!

As part of my goals I set for myself each month, I usually have one that is about getting dressed and accessorizing and in general putting myself together more often/better, even if I don’t leave the house. So as part of that, that means putting my face together. I always look for new lashes and I have some that are absolutely amazing and love but that doesn’t mean I don’t continue to look for others for my collection. I have decided to try out this brand Your Lash Bar which I found on instagram.

They are super affordable: 3 for 15$ or 5 for 25$ or 6$ each. IMG_2397I picked up these 3 styles. Top left is Kamikaze. Top right is Bellini. Bottom is Manhattan. All their lashes are named after drinks, so cute! I also picked up this lash applicator tool, I usually use tweezers which works great but I thought I would give this a try. I love the packaging. The marble with the rose gold lettering and the drink glasses in the letters. All the little details are beautiful.

The lashes are nice quality at such a great price. They are not too heavy and don’t weigh down the eyes, which of course is important. Bellini and Manhattan will definitely be staples in my lash rotation. Kamikaze will probably be more for special looks and photos because of how over the top they are.

Overall these lashes are a total hit! Give them a try and let me know what you think!

E.L.F. Newness Review

Alright friends I have tested out many of the new products from E.L.F that I had recently purchased and here are my initial thoughts.

  • Clarifying Charcoal Bubble Mask- I really enjoyed this mask. It did tingle a bit as I let it bubble on my face for about 10 minutes. After rinsing it off my skin was left clean, tight, and smooth. I would definitely recommend it!
  • Lock On Face Primer- I have only used the primer once but.. this primer is very tacky and kind of thick. I like it but it is almost a little difficult to use. When I applied my foundation it went on a little patchy. Not sure this is really a win for me, I’ll have to keep testing out using it.
  • Blending Sponge- This is a little like the beauty blender but when you wet it, it gets huge! I have to give it a few more tries because with that primer it was just a difficult day for foundation. They are super soft tho!
  • Beauty Shield Antioxidant Finishing Powder- I really like this powder. It was super smooth and silky and photographed well. This one is a win!
  • Bronzer- I got the shade light matte. I like this bronzer because you could build it up and it was the perfect cool tone for contouring but also warm enough to warm up the skin a bit.
  • Blush- Shade bright pink. I actually love this color! It looks really nice on the skin and can be built up. Winner!
  • Highlight- Shade Glow. This shade was beautiful but not blinding. It also was much more golden of a highlight than I expected but still very pretty for an everyday glow.
  • Liquid Matte Lipstick- This is the last product I tried out so far and I really loved it. It does require 2 layers to get a super full opaque look. The color I am wearing in the picture is Vampy Violet.

photo1IMG_2384From bottom to top: highlighter, blush, bronzer, liquid matte lipstick in the colors- vampy violet, smokey taupe, coffee(sorry it smeared), lip liner- natural and deep berry.

I have just a few last products to try still but so far things have been pretty great!

HUSH first time review

Hello friends!! I recently found out about the hush app from a youtuber and I can’t believe I didn’t know about it sooner! There are so many products at amazing prices. I started off purchasing two eyeshadow palettes and a liquid eye liner. I am beyond impressed.

First Item I got was this Aphrodite palette by Bad Habit. You have probably heard about this palette already, and it was sold out for so long but came back in stock recently. This palette is a great dupe for the Huda Beauty eye shadow palette. And comes at a way better price point of only 10$!!! The pigmentation is amazing and will definitely will be a staple, go to palette for me. I hope this brand does a dupe for the newest Huda Beauty palette.

The next palette I got for the colors. I am so ready for fall looks and these colors where just calling my name. The pans are huge and only costs 8$!! The color payoff is really nice for the price. It is not amazing but it is good. IMG_2319Lastly I got this eyeliner as a free gift but I believe it only cost 3 or 4$. I have to say this is probably my new favorite liquid liner. I have been wanting to find one I really love and I think I got it. All without spending 20!! This is by the brand kleancolor and it is waterproof. Best of all I received all the items in 3 days!! Such fast shipping!

Okay guys go check out Hush for some incredible deals and let me know what you try out!
