My journey begins with Arbonne and of anyone is interested I would love to help you with your journey as well. Arbonne is a really old European company that is #1 worldwide for healthy living products inside and out. Our products truly can’t be beat. They are natural and free of allergenic and inflammatory ingredients! No soy, dairy, gluten and so much more.

Our 30 days to healthy living teaches you how to eat and live clean. And makes it super easy by giving you a super tasty meal replacement for breakfast and lunch or any 2 meals and also gives you multiple drinks for throughout the day that keep your energy up and your mind clear. I seriously have never felt better!

I just went grocery shopping for all my healthy ingredients for the dinners I will be cooking for me and my husband. I wanted to share one that I just whipped up and was super good!

Breakfast Tacos:

I believe breakfast is good at all times of the day so I threw this together and it was soo good!

For one taco or burrito you need (keep in mind you can adjust the ingredients to your liking):

  • Gluten free tortilla
    Eggs
    Turkey
Homemade salsa – I like making my own
    Homemade guacamole
    Black beans
    Quinoa or brown rice

That’s it! Heat up everything but the salsa and guac. Cook your eggs to order and assemble. So quick and easy and super tasty!

I’ll be sharing more recipes as I create them!

My Son is Turning ONE!!

Hello everyone!! I hope your October is going so well! I can’t believe that I have done so well with posting every day so far! haha So today marks the one month mark to my son’s first birthday and as most moms I am so excited!!! I have been planning this birthday party for a while now but everything is closing in on the big day. I wanted to share some of my ideas and party planning tips.

DECOR: I am doing a Dr. Suess themed birthday. I found some decor at Target that I can use to label food in cute Suess ways. I picked up some fabric at Hobby Lobby to create a “banner” to go around his high chair. At the dollar tree I picked up blue and red table cloths and blue, red, and white poster board. I cut up the poster board to create a banner that will display his month by month baby pictures.

FOOD: We are doing a BBQ and grilling lots of yummy foods. I am going to be doing lots of Dr. Suess themed sides, snack, sweets, and drinks.

  • Pink Yink Ink Drink- pink lemonade
  • New Blue Goo- blue punch
  • 1 fish 2 fish red fish blue fish- colored gold fish in a fish bowl
  • poodles with noodles- pasta salad
  • green eggs and ham- pretzels with white chocolate and green candies
  • Dr. Suess Soup- homemade chex mix/ trail mix
  • Truffala Fruits- fruit tray

There are so many ideas that you could do, these are just some that I am doing. I am also making a smash cake and cupcakes. I also ordered a party pack that includes plates, napkins, cups, cutlery, and a table cloth all in my theme.

I consider myself crafty so I am doing my best to make and craft everything that I can instead of buying a lot of the things. I have lots of ideas and I have been working away to make this a great party!

(all photos are courtesy of pinterest, i take no credit but hope to recreate some of these and do them justice. After Baby K’s birthday I will add my own pictures and share how the party went!!)

Baby Hack!

This is a new series I am going to start. I read hundreds of life hacks on pinterest but how about some baby hacks?! Do you have a little one who is teething? Or maybe he or she is just out on a super hot day? I started making my little one baby Popsicles and they are so easy to make!!! And they are a huge hit with babies and toddlers!

Pretty inexpensive, about 6-7$ for two. Then you can either use pre packaged baby food or make your own mixes! Spoon some of the mixture into the feeder, usually holds about 2oz. I use a bit of plastic wrap to wrap the feeder and keep it from getting baby food everywhere. and Voila! You have a tasty treat for baby and way to add more fruits and veggies without added sugar into the babies and kids!

And as kids get a little older you can get a Popsicle mold at walmart or target to make big kid popsicles! image1(2)This chunky butt doesn’t lie and baby pops are the sweet solution to hot summer days and sore gums!! Don’t forget the bib tho!!!

Milk Boosting Cookies

Every now and again you need a boost, and these will help you with just that. Whether you need a little sweet treat, protein bite, a milk supply boost, or all 3 these have got that!

I got this recipe from my sister in law and made some tweaks to it for myself.

Boobie Cookies:

In one bowl beat together:

  • 1c butter
  • 1c sugar
  • 1c brown sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 2 eggs

Let 4tbs water and 2tbs ground flax seed sit together for 5 minutes.

In another bowl mix together:

  • 2c flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 2-3 tsp cinnamon
  • 4tbs brewers yeast

Combine all of the above

then mix in:

  • 3c oats
  • 2c dark chocolate chips
  • 3tbs peanut butter

bake at 350 degrees for 12 minutes

These are so good! Hope you enjoy! Let me know if you would like me to send you a PDF of the recipe (:
